In late April of 2006 Chris and I tried our hand at social activism on behalf of the Invisible Children. We got to the park at 7pm and, after registering, started writing letters to the president and a senator. Chris poured his heart into the letters, it was pretty impressive. By 10pm it was freezing cold and we were both under-dressed, so we furtively left. We were headed to the subway station, but next thing I knew we were sitting in this bar, having some beers and car bombs and talking about deep things. It was high quality guy time.

Towards the end of the evening I went to the bathroom and when I came back Chris told me that the bartender had offered us some free shots, but he'd turned them down. The moral of this story is that you shouldn't go to the bathroom when drinking with Chris or he might turn down free alcohol. ;-)

I was on someone's xanga, whom was rating other xangas @ that time and said "there are xangas that has good layout (insert link here), xangas that has good writing (insert link here), but rarely are there xangas that has both (insert link here)".  Lo and behold, I clicked and it brought me to Chris' infamous Legolas entry.  I remember how my emotion fluctuated between anger and laughter while I read it.

I later showed it to 3 other friends. Luckily they all just straight up laughed.
